The Men of Note recreates the original dance music of Glenn Miller, Harry James, Les Brown, Artie Shaw and many other great bands. Their program also includes sambas, tangos, bossa-novas, waltzes, polkas and other specialties guaranteed to add variety and excitement to your party.
The Men of Note features Carolyn Smith singing the songs of Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, George Gershwin and the great songwriters of the era, backed by sixteen professional musicians. Nothing else quite compares to experiencing the full richness of the authentic big band sound.
